Complete Newel Posts are solid, single-piece timbers that run unbroken from your floor joist all the way up to your decorative cap. Conversely, our Pegged Turnings (Post Heads) feature a pre-machined bottom spigot dowel designed to drop directly into existing 90mm timber bases.
2. Architectural Chamfering & Fluting
Our raw kiln-dried oak profiles are machined with crisp decorative stopping. Stop-Chamfering shaves away the harsh 90-degree corner edge of the timber before smoothly terminating near the joints, whereas Fluting routes vertical classical channels down the post face. Both techniques create stunning shadow lines that highlight the natural grain of prime White Oak.
