🌲 The Power of Wood
Wood is a fantastic renewable resource. If managed sensitively, the extraction of timber is not detrimental to the global environment. Wood is organic, non-toxic, recyclable, and entirely biodegradable. Making stair components from wood also requires significantly less energy than materials such as steel or aluminium, meaning far less carbon dioxide is released into our environment.
📋 Certified Sourcing
All the timber we use is sourced strictly from suppliers certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) or the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC). Our eco-friendly attitude means that we absolutely do not use timbers listed by the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES). When these are specified by a client, we will always suggest sustainable alternatives.
