Selecting the Right Sapele Baserail
Our solid Sapele baserails are designed to provide a secure and stunning foundation for your balustrade. When selecting your baserail, the key factor is determining how your spindles or glass panels will connect to it.
If you are using standard wooden spindles, select a slotted baserail that matches the width of your spindles (typically 32mm or 41mm, though we also offer a 35mm option). These slotted rails come complete with the necessary infill strips to secure your spindles in place. If you are using our elegant Black Iron spindles with brackets, or if you are installing modern glass panels using metal clamps, you will need the 'Ungrooved' solid Sapele baserail for a flush, secure mounting surface.
