Selecting Your Baserail
The baserail forms the foundation of your staircase balustrade, sitting neatly on the stair string to secure your spindles or glass panels in place. If you are fitting standard timber or metal spindles, choose a slotted TB Baserail that matches your spindle thickness (32mm, 35mm, or 41mm). All of our slotted baserails are supplied with the necessary infill strips to fill the gaps between your spindles.
For a contemporary glass staircase, our 10mm Slot Modern Baserail is specifically designed to house glass panels securely. Alternatively, our Ungrooved TB Baserail provides a perfectly flat, solid surface if you are using glass clamps or alternative mounting brackets. As with all our Pine components, these baserails are easily sanded and ready to be painted, stained, or varnished to match your home's decor.
