Selecting the Right Hemlock Baserail
Our solid Hemlock baserails are designed to provide a secure and stunning foundation for your balustrade. When selecting your baserail, the key factor is determining how your spindles or glass panels will connect to it.
If you are using standard wooden spindles or structural glass, select a slotted baserail that matches the required width (slots are available from 8mm up to 41mm). These slotted rails come complete with the necessary infill strips to secure your components in place. If you are using our elegant Black Iron spindles with brackets, or if you are installing modern glass panels using metal clamps, you will need the 'Ungrooved' solid Hemlock baserail for a flush, secure mounting surface.
